Our research focuses on human-derived pharmaceuticals
and pathogens in water environments such as rivers and lakes.
To protect human and ecosystem health, we have been conducting research
with collaborators in environmental engineering, developmental biology,
molecular biology, fishery science, and other fields.
Taking a precautionary approach before adverse effects become evident is important
to leaving a healthy water environment for the future.
